Plaster Master pieces
Today I came across these incredible plaster works of art. Unfortunately I couldn't find the artist, but I was very intrigued by both them and their title. They are called Morbid Plaster Creations. I will let you be the judge of them.
So what are your thoughts on these pieces? Is this a project that you would be interested in doing? What amazes you about them the most? Is it the subject matter or the details or something else? What images would you combine?

These sculptures are very interesting and cool. I don't think I would ever be able to make something with this much detail. The person who made these must have been very creative.
ReplyDeleteWoah things are very cool. They kind of remind me of the plaster things we did. They must of had to make it very thin in order to get light to shine through.
ReplyDeleteThe birds in the lung interest me the most. I think they are all really cool. Especially the lung one when it's lit up. I would love to try this project. What amazes me the most are the details.

ReplyDeleteThis is super cool and very detailed. It would take a lot of time and patience to do this and I definitely don't have that. The lighting in the first one is really cool.

ReplyDeleteThese pieces of art are very detailed and fun to look at. It had to take they a long time to get all those details. I myself would not do lungs or ears but still very neat projects.
ReplyDeleteThese are very creative. Having light show a shadow from the inside is pretty cool and you'd need your plaster to be somewhat thin there, so I'd bet these are very fragile.
ReplyDeleteThis would be a really hard project to do at are level of ability. It would use a lot of time so we couldn't do that many projects that quarter. And it is fragile and we are not a fragile class.
ReplyDeleteI like this one because the one in the middle lights up and has a cool effect. The ones at the bottom are also cool because they are made of plaster. And we had to work with plaster and that stuff is hard to use.

ReplyDeleteThese are definitely morbid but they're super cool. I like the lungs with the lights showing the shadows of the birds. I think it'd be cool to make something like this.

ReplyDeletemy explanation for this art is that we are apart of nature and then nature must be a part of us. this is explained through the birds a part a symbol for the beauty of nature living within our lungs therefore within us.And a human skull inside of the bird there fore we are part of the symbol of nature.
