Animals and painty days
The artist Philipp Grein is a watercolor artist who mixes paintings of animals and paint splatters. In a whimsical way he is giving life and interest to a variety of animals. He paints the animals in either normal colors or in black and white schemes. He then adds fun paint splatters of colors into the overall image.
What do you think of his work? Which work do you like the best? What animal would you paint if you could create this work of art?

These look really cool. The color really pop out at you. Animals are not easy to draw and those are great. I would paint a goat if we did these.

ReplyDeleteI think these are very creative and would go well in a modern home. The giraffe's head going above the clouds is creative. I would probably make a penguin or something.
ReplyDeleteThese are very interesting pieces of work. I seems very hard to mix paint and get it to look like that. I also like how the make it look 3D but a different animal in some might be nice.

ReplyDeleteThis one is very interesting to because of the way the animals are interacting with the paint colors. Also because the animals are black and white and the paint makes the animal stand out.

ReplyDeleteI think his work is very interesting. I love all the colors he uses. I would love to hang one of his paintings in my room. My favorite would have to be the giraffe. If I tried it, I would do a cat.
ReplyDeleteI really like these. I really like the giraffe, and how it extends out through the clouds. When I was scrolling I thought it was just a black and white giraffe, then there was color.

ReplyDeleteI think his work is unique. I liked the owl one because the owl looks grumpy and the colors are falling on him. If I could draw something like this I would choice an elephant.
