Sometime you come across art that you are not sure what to think of, or what you should call it, and that is okay.

So I have some questions about what you think of this piece that I found?
So what do you think? What would you call this if you had to give it a title? What does it tell you about the artist? Can you give any thoughts to his/her feelings or thoughts?

I would honestly just call it rose. I like how the head of the girl is a rose and her body looks like a rose. I could never make a portrait that could look that much realistic

ReplyDeleteI think that this is good. My thoughts would be that the author is trying to say that since a rose looks beautiful that this girl is beautiful. I would call this one rose because that is a flower name and it also can be a girls name

ReplyDeleteThis explains the pure beauty of this flower by comparing it with a very pretty girl body. people can make the assumption her face is very pretty because it is being called a flower. flowers are supposed to be beautiful especially a rose.

ReplyDeleteI really think this art is interesting. I think I would call it Lonely. I would call it that because it might show that the artist feels lonely. They have thorns on their body that might be keeping people away.
ReplyDeleteThis is extremely gorgeous. Every line is placed perfectly, and the shading is on point. The way I see it, this could be symbolic of the human race's connection to and responsibility for nature.
ReplyDeleteI am not really a fan of this piece. It kind of makes me uncomfortable seeing the thorns sticking out of her. It makes me feel sort of lonely and hurt.

It is very talented picture but not my favorite. It shows she feels lonely. The flower is good and it is has some sad meaning.

ReplyDeleteI really like this artwork, it looks nice and creative i like the thorns that were added to her, but i really don't like that it looks dark and sad, i think it should of had some sort of color added like the rose on her head to have some tone of reddish black or something.
ReplyDeleteThis is really cool artwork. To me it portrays the feeling of being alone. Roses are beautiful, but hard to get to because of their thorns. You could compare yourself to a rose because you can't get to people.

ReplyDeleteI think this is an interesting piece of art. To me it seems like maybe the rose represents her being kind and beautiful and then the thorns may represent the times people have hurt her and maybe the times she has hurt others.
