So....

Have you ever just wanted to create something out of nothing?  Have you ever been so bored you decided to build something out of staples?  What?? You haven't thought of building a city out of staples like this guy?

Peter Root decided to just create his own city, out of office staples.




So what do you think of this city?  Is it creative, crazy, or just plain cool?  Would you have the patience or be willing to put in the effort?  What would it take to get you to create something like this?

    I feel mean, but when I first saw this I thought of kicking it over. It is cool and I never would have thought about doing this. It probably took hours.

    This is a really cool project. It would take forever to create a whole city out of staples. It would also be very frustrating because at any moment one wrong move and it can collapse.

    I think this project is a cool creative idea. I would not even try to attempt this I would get bored way to fast. If I had to make something like this it would have to be for something that’s not just going to be destroyed later.

    This is a really cool thing to do with things that you normally would make things out of. This imagine took a lot of time, and effort to do without getting frustrated. I definitely would not have the patience to do this because one wrong little move and you could ruin hours worth of work.

    I definitely wouldn't have the patience to do this. It kinda seems like a waste of time. I don't really like the way it turned out as it doesn't even look like a city.

    This is a very creative and fun project. Its like a little city, its so tiny. I would take the time to do this project although it would take alot od time. I think it would be fun.

    To me this city is pretty sweet. No i would not have the patients to even think about doing this. It would take me more patients than i have to do this.

    This is a very creative way of art. I would not have enough patience to do this. The only way somebody could make me do this is with a lot of Mcdonalds

    When I first glanced at it I thought it was just a photograph of a city and then I realized it was constructed out of staples. I would probably get frustrated and just end up putting the staples into a staple for actual use but this is a creative idea

    Something like this is really cool. i like it a lot, but I myself would not have the patience to do this project. Trying to get the staples to stay up would be hard for me to do, because knowing me i would knock it down right when i got it up. but otherwise its really cool, i just don't think i would be able to do it.

    This project doesnt seem very hard. It seems like this project was made by somebody being bored and stacking staples intill it looked cool. Pretty neat.

    I think that the city made out of staples is really cool. It had to have taken this guy a lot of time to make it. It was a really creative way to use something as common as staples. It would take a very large meal to get me to do this.

    I think this is a really cool well designed city. I think its a cool city and is something you could see in near future. I dont think i would ever have the patience do this just for the reason on ill knock something over every other second. I think the only way i would do this is for a large amount of money

    This type of art is very interesting to me. It is not used with pencils or paints, but with patience and structure. It inspires me to take time on my work to make it a possible master piece.

    These creative buildings look like they been made out of legos. They remind of the little round globes with the fake snow and small tall city's sometimes anyway. I love it.

    I think this really cool but would be way cooler if it was a realistic cityscape of a real city, Or they could put staples on the wall and ceiling and recreate that scene from inception.

    I think this city is good but it looks more like a waist of time to make. It is just plain cool because if you take photo at the right position you will not think it is a miniature building. I will have zero patience making this. I don't even think it's wallpaper worthy.

    I just love how someone can create something so amazing with just a simple object. It looked almost real, I had to do a double take. Though time consuming, its definitely an eye catcher.

    This is insane, I wonder how long it took him to do this. He is so talented. I would be scared to trip on fall on all of them. That would be bad. But bravo to the artist, amazing job.

    It so cool how a simple thing like staples can be made into a cool piece of art. It would be hard putting them together to make a city. If you put one in the wrong spot it would mess it all up.

    This is amazing! I've never been one to let things go to waste, so this guy amazes me. I never, before this moment, thought that you could make anything so amazing out of something so un-amazing like staples. I am definitely going to give things more thought on how useful after seeing this.

    This is a great example of scaling up it just looks big tho when the photographer takes the pic just right. I think it's pretty fascinating to make a supposed city probable new york im guessing or detroit but anyways that is not the point. Makeig the creation of places that are made in a little area look 1000 times bigger than they do is amazing that is my point.

    These are some masterful masterpieces. The time dedication for each individual piece and the mapping out of every piece. These masterpieces had to take quite awhile. It would be fascinating to see more of these.

    I think the hardest part would be getting the staples and balancing them. The biggest part to make this pop is the right camera angles and lighting.

    This look cool when its done, but making it could be very frustrating . I'm sure i would knock things over multiple times. I have seen a few things likes this in places i have visited and they are very neat.
