Photo or Drawing???

I recently came across the art by Dirk Dzimirsky from Germany.  He takes very emotional photgraphs of people and turns them into large scale very emotional photorealism drawings and paintings.

 I want to know what you think of his artwork.  Do you think it is a photo or a drawing?

    It inspires me to actually do good on my graphing project now. I'd prefer not to do that much detail since it would take FOREVER. It looks cool though.

    It both inspires and intimidates me. It makes me wish I could do that, and it inspires me to work harder. They are really cool, but kind of scary.

    These are really amazing drawings. I believe that they are drawings, but its really hard to tell because they are so life-like! I love how detailed they are also.

    These drawing and paintings are incredible. They look so realistic and I wouldn't have known they weren't photographs if I hadn't read the caption. They look absolutely amazing.

    I think he takes a photo of the person but than draws it on a larger scale. I think it is some what cool. Also it is kind of scare with up close photos.

    on an unparalleled skill level. I couldn't find a single flaw in any of the drawings. It would be really impressive, if he could do this from imagination.

    These pieces intimidate me. I look at it and I feel overwhelmed at how real the drawings look and how much talent, effort and time is put into those.

    this is really cool. the fact that it looks like a photograph, but it is really a drawing. i could never do this, it takes real talent, talent that i do not have!

    I love these. They look like pictures but they probably are drawn. I think this would be awsome to hang in my house. i like how its full of emotion.

    i think these are beautiful! the guys look a bit scary but the girls are s relestic and pretty! how does he not mess up his shading?! this would be a very hard project.

    These drawings are defiantly eye catching. It does capture emotion and it looks like a picture. I'm not that talented to draw these kind of things.

    Whoever did the ones that are paintings is very talented. They all look like they could be pictures. I wish I was this good at art.

    These are obviously drawings as you see the artist drawing them in one of the pictures but they do look like photos. They are very details and very well drawn and shaded. The very last picture is outstanding as it has SO much detail and looks SO realistic.

    This is really amazing that he can make these drawings so realistic that you are really puzzled whether they are pictures or drawings. I think that these are the drawings, and if they are they are perfection.

    This intimidates me very much. Someone who can make a painting look as if it was a photograph can cause terror. The ability to do this could falsify information, or lead lies to countries.

    I know that it is a drawing because it is obvious since they show a picture of the person drawing it in one of the pictures. These are pretty cool and VERY detail!

    These are so cool. It would take a lot of talent to make a drawing so realistic. If the picture taken during drawing wasn't there it would be hard to choose if it was a photo or drawing.

    That is amazingly awesome! They look like a photo that is turned black and white. That is the coolest thing I have ever seen. These kinda creep me out because it looks as though the people are without clothing.

    I could tell some are drawn and just shaded good but the old men looks like he just used a lot of filter. I love and the picture with the unshaven beard of that man looks real so photo graphed on that one.

    I think that it would be really cool to be this goof at drawing. I looks like it would take lots of time and pencils to draw these. You would also need to be really talented to draw something like this.

    The artwork is very intriguing, It looks very realistic and detailed. I wish I could draw like this but I can't. Maybe in the future.I know it's a photo because I saw the one where he was drawing it, but the last one where he's crying looks like a photo.

    This is very inspiring because it proves two basic things. Humans have amazing capabilities and some downfalls. These drawings are so amazing our brain automatically fixes any errors and sees everything as intend by the artist.

    The one with the water is my favorite, and i think it is the most impressive. The facial expression the guy is making is amazingly done. I wish i could do stuff like this, but I am not very patient.

    I dont get how people can create something so descriptive it looks like an actual photograph.There like literally copying a picture as if they were a printer.I just want to know how long it takes to do this and it better be at least a week or these people are aliens from another planet.

    I think these look really neat and its obvious time has been spent on them. It also probably took a lot of patience which i don't really have . The paintings also look really real
