A new Breed of art

I found some images from the artist named John Breed and I was fascinated by his work.  He has actually been creating work for about 20 years now in England, but it is just in the past few years his work has become recognized.

He loves to use everyday objects in unique ways.


There are 1568 pieces used in this piece known as "food-hunter"

There are 145 shoes and legs in "Shoe Salon Breuninger"



So what do you think of his work?  Would you like to see it up close?  Would it catch your attention?

If you could create a sculpture out of anything, what materials would you use and what would you do with those materials to make it a unique design?

    This project is great. I like how it is so bright and colorful. It catches your eye with its bright colors. I would like to see his projects up close.

    I think that coming up with an idea like this one would be incredibly hard to do! Everything pops off the wall amazingly, I love the concept of it. It sounds fun to do yet it also seems too hard.

    I really like the 3D concept of the sculptures. They are really colorful and really grab your attention. They scream "look at me". the artist must have been extremely creature to be able to come up with this idea.

    I abuslutely LOVE this art! It is so detailed and so "Poppy". I can reach out and touch it, and the fact that its 3D is amazing!

    I really like the 3D effect of the sculptures. The colorful one grab my attention. It seems really had to do but when its done right it looks good. It would be fun to do even how hard it is.

    this project is really cool. I mean who would ever thing of this it is simple unique. the feet are a really cool design but i don't know if i would personally like to go see it.

    Its very interesting, I like the colors. its very creative. I would love to see that up close. All the different shoes looks so awesome. If i ever saw that in person it would really catch my attention, especially the colorful one.

    i think this pretty neat. it was probably really hard with all the colors though. i like how he blended colors to do this. the shoes look very magnificent

    I think this is pretty cool. I think this looks a little bit creepy but it would catch my eye. I think it would be very difficult to do the rainbow colors and to get the all to stay still and to capture this. But i would use lots of different metal thing and make a neat robot statue.

    This is a really cool piece of art. It must have taken a while to get all the colors just right, but it looks good. If I was going to make a sculpture it would probably be something made out of wires or along the lines of it.

    First things first his art is very creative. The way he can make art out of anything is very skilled. It would be interesting to see all of his work. I'm not sure if I could be able to do this. It takes time, patience, and creativity to do stuff like his and it would take me forever just to find something to make a sculpture out of.

    I think this type of artwork is creative and unique. I think that making art out of random things is very cool. Trying to do this would be very time consuming, but in the end i think it would be worth it.

    I think that he has a foot fetish. I would like to see the first picture of close. It would probably catch my attention. I would probably use wire to create something out of nothing.

    I think it is cool. I would like to see it up close to see though how nicely done it really is. I do however wonder why he chose shoes and legs and stuff because it isn't really important.

    This mans work is very out of the ordinary and it catches my attention easily. It is really cool to see all the random things we use throughout our life put into art. I think it would be cool to see it up close because then you would get to see more of how he made it stay up and see the random things that we don't think of as important in our every day lives.

    This looks hard because of all of the different detailing they put into doing this. I love they way they think of using different objects especially like in the very top one (1st one). I also love the use of lots of different colors. I probably never would have thought about using shoes.

    I like the colors that this guy uses but I think it would be weird to be walking and you see a bunch of legs sticking out of the wall, but then again I still like it and I really want to see his work up close.

    I like the 2 bucks in the first pictures those would be something that would be cool to make and take home and hang. it is astonishing how much work and time people put into these things.

    Its awesome what emotion you can get by just colors and the combination of them. I like how a lot of them have all different types of shoes.
