Do any of these covers make you want to pick up these books and find out what they are about? Do any of them give you clues to what they might be about?
Would either of these books catch your attention? Can you think of a different way to create a cover for these books?
The cover of a book usally helps me choose a book to read. I read Inkheart because of the cover looked intesting.
ReplyDeletethe cover of a book is one of the most important parts of a book becuase if you want to find a new book, you have a good portion of an idea what the book is going to be about.
ReplyDeleteim not a fan of drawings of peopel that are supose to look like people but there off, it just bugs me. but that doesnt not go for like some one who is a cartoon that doesnt cuz then hey dont look messed up i don tknow its weird
ReplyDeleteI dont really read, so when I do, I usually pick the one with the coolest cover. The ones that most interest me are Pure and Shiver. They just look pretty interesting. I think it would be cool to recreate a book cover for an art project.

ReplyDeleteIf I see a book with a cool cover I usually think that the book will be good. So I think that a interesting book cover will encourage people to get interested in the book and read it.

ReplyDeleteI'm more likely to read a book if they cover looks interesting. It would be interenting to make our own book covers in class and compare each others.

ReplyDeleteIf i read a book usually it has to have a cool cover. These covers are kinda creative so i may read them. These books decent but i dont think i would read them

ReplyDeleteThis is cool. I don't like to read that much, but this is pretty cool. I like the shiver one the best. It would take to much time to do it, and I wouldn't have the patience.
ReplyDeletethe cover of the book is the number one part of the book. i think we all have a moment in our heads asking if we are gonna read this book or not because of the cover.
ReplyDeletewhen you have a book cover it shouldnt be super cartoony and bright. it also shouldnt have a cheesy font showing off the title. I personally look at the book covers to see if i even want to get a certain book. i like the simplicity on some book covers, but sometimes you have to have something that will catch your eye too.
