Sometimes it is hard to think of art in any other way than a painting on canvas or a ceramic vase, but there are tons of materials out there that can be made into art. Recycling objects into new artwork has become a very popular art technique out there. Find a new purpose for old junk is a great way to be creative.

The elephant one is really cool.I like how used tvs for the elephant. I like how they used big tvs, and small tvs cause elephants are big.

If I could make use any junk to make a peice of art i would probably make a big sun out of old cd's. I Would do this because i am a fan of music and the sun. and of course he cd's would have to be yellow
ReplyDeleteI really like the elephant that was mostly made out of old tv's! It's awesome how someone can take old tv's and make a elephant out of them. I dont think i could ever think of makeing art out of old recycled things and actually have it look cool.
ReplyDeleteI think the ideas for the sculptures are awesome. It’s cool how the artist used recycled stuff for the materials. It’s cool how he used all different types of things to make sculptures. I think the wave made out of records is the coolest.

ReplyDeleteI like the wave of records. I find it intersting that someone can acually think of doing this and follow through with it. Also if i could make something i would make very large music notes and call it sheet music.
ReplyDeletehow long did it take for these people to make these. I see those Tv's and records, how much does it cost for these because i garuntee those tv's costed 5-20 it adds up fast. if i had the time i would probable make something random out of welded metal pieces.

ReplyDeleteI would use old tracker parts to make a tiger made out of tracker parts. i would call it triger.
ReplyDeletei like the fact that someone came up with the idea of making an elephant made out of old televisions. im sure it was hard to put them together. Not only that, but the fact that the televisions are very heavy. i also liked the picture of the bridge made out of pop cans. also how its able to stand on its own.

ReplyDeleteI would use old fatory parts to create a human frame. In side the fame would be gears and stuff that would be were human organs are. I would call it "Our Machine".

ReplyDeleteIf i were to make something out of old objects I would choose old crayons and make a rainbow. I doubt I would ever have the time or patience to do something this extravagant though. I enjoy how old items that would have been in the trash are instead turned into something amazing.

ReplyDeleteThis is amazing and, while I would love to try this, it would take way more patience and creativity than I have. If I had to do this, I would like to do a sculpture of an animal, and I would use common things that could easily be recycled.

Honestly these art sculptures are like amazing and cool. I really really like the dog ones, because I love dogs. I have never seen recycled art before so that is what makes it interesting to me.
